Description
The Rovion system, developed by iPEK GmbH, is a high-tech CCTV Robotic Pipeline Inspection solution designed for various applications in the inspection and maintenance of pipeline infrastructure.
The Rovion comes with various configurations suitable for pipeline inspection from DN100 up to DN2000.
Features
Rovion is a versatile, remotely operated robotic system used to inspect pipelines in challenging conditions. Its robotic design allows it to navigate through narrow and complex pipeline networks that might be difficult or dangerous for human inspectors to access.
The Rovion system is modular, meaning it can be configured with various components to adapt to different types of pipeline inspections. The robot can be fitted with different sensors, cameras, and tools based on the specific inspection requirements.
The system comes equipped with high-resolution cameras for visual inspection. These cameras are capable of providing clear, detailed images of the internal condition of pipelines. This enables operators to detect issues like cracks, blockages, corrosion, and other forms of damage.
The Rovion robot has a 360-degree camera system that allows inspectors to have a comprehensive view of the pipeline interior. This ensures that no part of the pipeline goes unnoticed during the inspection process.
The Rovion robot is designed to move efficiently within pipelines, even in difficult-to-reach places. It can traverse bends, changes in diameter, and obstacles, making it ideal for complex pipeline systems. Some models are equipped with a crawler system to facilitate mobility in various types of pipelines.
Rovion can be customized with a range of sensors and diagnostic tools, such as laser profilometers, sonar sensors, or metal detectors, which can be used to detect specific issues like pipe deformation or other structural anomalies.
The system is operated remotely from a control unit, allowing inspectors to control the robot’s movements and receive live data feeds from the robot. The data can be processed and analyzed in real-time, with options to store and review the footage and findings later.
The Rovion System is designed with real time sensor monitoring eg. water-proof level, temperature, inclination etc. These monitoring features allow the user to know the equipment conditions during operation.

RX130 CRAWLER Ø 150 MM - 1000 MM
The RX130 is the mainline crawler of the Rovion system from IPEK. The crawler has an integrated motorized lifter for infinitely variable adjustment of the camera height. The crawler is therefore suitable for an application range from DN150 to DN600. With optionally accessories such as the crawler carrier, the application range is extended from DN150 to DN1,000.

RX400 CRAWLER Ø 400 MM - 2000 MM
The largest RX400 crawler of the Rovion system from IPEK was developed for larger pipe dimensions with high flow rates. It offers comfortable working in difficult environments – the application range is from DN 400 to DN 1,300 with the optional camera extension even up to DN 2,000.

RCX90 PTZ Camera (SD / FHD)
RCX90 pan and rotate zoom camera head for the ROVION inspection system from IPEK offers powerful, homogeneous illumination thanks to separately adjustable LED lighting for the near and far ranges. The camera has a large zoom range, endless rotation and a large swivel range. It is also characterized by its high-quality, robust construction and excellent optical properties.

VC500 - Mobile Control Unit
The multifunctional, portable control unit VC500 HD enables the control of ROVION crawler systems. The control unit is characterized by its low weight and ergonomic shape for optimum user-friendliness. With its sunlight-readable 10.1-inch multi-touch display, it shows real-time recordings and can record up to 85 hours of video material on the internal memory.

RLX200 - Manual Cable Reel
The lightweight RLX200 cable reel from IPEK is particularly compact, portable and easy to use. The mobile cable reel holds a maximum of 200m of highly stable camera cable and offers a winding aid so that the camera cable can be wound onto the cable reel cleanly and quickly. For longer cable requirements, iPEK does offer Automatic Cable Reel RAX300 for maximum 300m cables and RAX500 with maximum 500m cables.
